
The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune. It serves as a gateway for admission into MBA and postgraduate management programs offered by 15 Symbiosis institutes, including SCMHRD, SIBM Pune, SIIB, and SIBM Bengaluru. SNAP is known for its fast-paced exam pattern, moderate difficulty level, and short test duration, making it one of the quickest MBA entrance tests in India.
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST), Final-year students may apply, No age limit
Exam fee: ₹2,250 per test attempt, Additional ₹1,000 per Symbiosis institute/program applied
The SNAP selection process includes shortlisting candidates based on their SNAP scores, followed by further selection rounds conducted by respective Symbiosis institutes. These rounds typically include Group Exercise (GE), Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI). Each institute assigns different weightage to SNAP scores, GE, WAT, PI, academic performance, and work experience. Final admission is based on cumulative performance across all stages.
