Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Human Resource Management (PGDM HRM)

The PGDM in Human Resource Management (HRM) at XLRI is a two-year, full-time flagship programme and one of the most prestigious HR programmes in India and the Asia-Pacific region. Designed to build expertise in managing people, organisations, and workplace dynamics, the programme equips students with the knowledge and skills required to align human resources with organisational growth and strategy.
The curriculum integrates core management subjects with specialised HR domains such as human resource planning, talent acquisition and selection, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, labour relations, HR analytics, and human resource information systems (HRIS). It also focuses on fostering effective employer–employee relationships within regulatory frameworks, preparing students to handle complex workforce challenges.
Alongside HR specialisation, students gain a strong foundation in general management through courses across functional areas. The programme emphasises both strategic HR leadership and practical application, enabling graduates to take on roles in HR development, personnel management, industrial relations, and organisational leadership.
