Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) - Finance

The PGDM in Finance at SPJIMR is a two-year, full-time management programme designed to build strong financial expertise and strategic decision-making skills for the global business environment. The academic year begins with the Harvard Business School’s pre-MBA foundation module, followed by a first-year curriculum focused on core functional and general management courses.

Alongside classroom learning, participants engage in specially curated Immersive Experiences such as PGLab, Abhyudaya, ADMAP, DoCC, SOS, and Design & Innovation, enabling practical exposure to real-world business and social challenges. In the second year, the curriculum focuses on making participants industry-ready by integrating the knowledge and experiential learning developed in the first year. Students pursue major and minor specialisations, choose from a variety of common electives, undertake corporate internships, and gain global exposure through the Global Fast Track (GFT) international immersion at partner universities.

The Finance specialisation equips participants with a comprehensive understanding of both theoretical concepts and practical financial tools, preparing them to analyze financial markets, manage investments, and address the challenges of a rapidly evolving global economy.
